Transit and short stays in Singapore
Some nationals can use Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF) for a short stay; others need a visa even for transit.
VFTF (if eligible)
- You must have a valid visa or travel document for certain countries (e.g. Australia, US, UK) and be in transit to/from a third country
- Check current VFTF eligibility on the ICA website
If you need a visa
- Apply for a visit visa (tourist or business) with the required documents: passport, form, photo, itinerary, proof of funds
- Processing times vary; apply in good time
