Financial support letter for visa
A visa sponsorship or financial support letter is written by the person or organisation that will fund your trip or studies. It states their relationship to you, their commitment to cover your expenses, and often includes proof of their ability to pay (referencing attached bank statements or employment letters). Embassies use it to assess whether you have adequate funds. A financial support letter is often used interchangeably with a sponsorship letter: the sponsor states they will pay for the applicant’s trip and references their ability to do so (e.g. bank statements, employment letter).
