These Terms of Service ("Terms") are between you and VisaEvidence. VisaEvidence is the legal business name of the operator of the website visaevidence.com and the related services ("Service", "we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of Service
VisaEvidence provides document-building and template tools to help users prepare letters and checklists for visa applications. The Service includes templates, a checklist builder, guides, and the ability to save and download generated documents. We do not provide legal, immigration, or professional advice. All content and generated documents are for formatting and structural assistance only; you are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for reviewing and verifying any document before submission to any authority.
3. Your Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account and profile information and keep it up to date.
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.
- Not misuse the Service (e.g. attempt to circumvent access controls, abuse rate limits, or resell content in a way that violates these terms).
- Review all generated documents for accuracy and completeness before using them in any application.
- Not hold us responsible for any outcome of a visa or immigration application.
4. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
5. Paid Plans, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Paid plans and one-time purchases are subject to the pricing and limits displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Refunds are available as set out in our Refund policy (14-day refund window). Refunds for one-time purchases (e.g. pay-per-letter, bundle) are handled in line with that policy. All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated.
6. Intellectual Property and Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal or internal business use in accordance with these terms.
Our proprietary content. All letter templates (including their text, structure, variable definitions, and country-specific variants), checklist content and logic, guides, free-tool copy and behaviour, and the overall design and branding of the Service are our intellectual property and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You may use them only through the Service for your own visa application preparation. You may not copy, scrape, extract, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works (including competing products or services) based on our templates, checklists, guides, or tool logic, whether for free or for commercial use.
You retain ownership of the content you create (e.g. the information you enter into templates). By using the Service you grant us the rights necessary to operate the Service (e.g. storing and displaying your saved letters). Automated or bulk scraping of our template text, checklist items, or guides is prohibited.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. We do not provide legal or immigration advice. Generated documents are templates and suggestions only; you must verify all information and comply with the requirements of the relevant authorities. We are not liable for any visa refusal, delay, or other outcome.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (and our affiliates, suppliers, and employees) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or one hundred US dollars if you are on a free plan).
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service if you breach these terms or for other operational or legal reasons. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases; we may retain or delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of laws. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
